I have been the Operations Manager at Envolta since November 2016.  
I genuinely enjoy my work, my co-workers and our clients.  Envolta has a strong team culture, we support each other and share our strengths and knowledge as a team.  Professional development is encouraged and supported so we can stay on the leading edge of our industry.  Work/Life balance is incredibly important to me, I am very grateful for the flexible work environment that is available to me as part of the Envolta team.

I didn’t know it at the time but my career path started with an accounting course in high school which led to a co-op placement – old school, green paper, tiny column ledger books.  I went on to study Financial Management at BCIT and received an Advanced Certificate in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC.  During this time I worked in industry, volunteered for Not For Profits and worked in public practice for small and medium CA firms.  I also had my own bookkeeping business for awhile.  Being married to an officer in the Canadian Navy I had the opportunity to work/volunteer in a few cities and overseas.

Away from work we have rediscovered camping though we have traded the tent in for a trailer, let’s just call it glamping.  I also love to travel which for now means tagging along on my husband’s business trips or visiting my son at college and creating a bucket list of destinations.
